Nga is a Resident Physician. Her large family (8 siblings) immigrated to America from Vietnam when she was 2 years old. They settled in the small city of Fayetteville, North Carolina. She is passionate about developing opportunities and providing care to the underserved community. During medical school, she was an active volunteer at Durham Rescue Mission, the homeless shelter for men within the Triangle area. Prior to medical school, she worked in the pharmaceutical industry at Merck & Co. developing biologics and leading the Ebola vaccine packaging development team. For LiRA, Nga brings operational expertise and firsthand experience with patients as a resident physician.
